Your Kidi Calendar Data
You can delete the calendar from the app. You do not need an account with Web Canaries to do it.
Delete your family's data
On the iPhone that has the calendar:
- Open the grown-up view. From the child's view, tap Grown-ups and pass the grown-up check.
- Tap the Settings gear.
- In the Privacy section, tap Delete family data.
- Answer the grown-up addition question to confirm.
On this device, that removes:
- Children, names, characters, and display preferences
- People, places, activities, custom activities, and notes
- Photos saved in Kidi Calendar
- The grown-up code
- Reminder settings and other app preferences
- Pending Kidi Calendar reminders
- The widget's copy of today's plan
The app then starts from an empty calendar.
iCloud
If this iPhone saved the schedule in your own iCloud, Delete family data also tries to delete that iCloud copy at the same time. That copy includes the schedule, the photos stored with it, and a family share you created.
Be signed in to iCloud when you delete. If iCloud cannot be reached, the copy on this iPhone is still removed, and the iCloud copy can remain. The app does not keep retrying that iCloud deletion after the on-device calendar is gone.
If this iPhone only joined a schedule someone else shared, Delete family data removes the copy on this iPhone. It does not delete the owner's iCloud schedule.
An iPhone or iCloud backup can still contain an older copy until you delete that backup.
Photos
Photos you added in Kidi Calendar are deleted from this iPhone with the rest of the family data. If the iCloud deletion succeeds, the photos stored in that iCloud schedule are removed with it. Photos you still have in the Photos app are not deleted.
Voice recordings
Kidi Calendar does not keep voice recordings. Nothing is stored to delete later. The words you already saved as a plan are part of the schedule, and they are removed with Delete family data.
Subscription
Deleting Kidi Calendar data does not cancel an App Store subscription.
To cancel Kidi Calendar Family, open iPhone Settings, then your Apple Account, then Subscriptions, then Kidi Calendar. Apple manages the charge. Restoring purchases later can turn Family features back on if the subscription is still active.
